"We are able to devote more time to our core business, because day-to-day management of our IT function is left to the experts at Prelude Services." - Steve Wittman, Director of Strategic Ventures, Link•age.

Prelude Services, a leading provider of IT services for senior living and long-term care communities, today announced a new partnership with Link-age, an alliance that provides cost containment and revenue-generating solutions for senior living providers. As part of the agreement, Prelude Services will help Link-age to more efficiently manage its IT processes and bolster security measures through complete IT hosting and managed infrastructure support services.

“Having a reliable and up to date IT system allows Link-age to focus on its core business, connecting our member organizations to solutions that allow them to have more resources to carry out their respective missions. We are able to devote more time to our core business, because day-to-day management of our IT function is left to the experts at Prelude Services,” said Steve Wittman, Director of Strategic Ventures, Link-age. “Prelude Services’ deep expertise with senior living and long-term care communities enables us to trust that they have an excellent understanding of our member customers and that they will guide us in the right direction for all of our IT needs.”

Link-age, a member alliance of senior care providers for more than 600 communities across 39 states, previously managed all IT processes internally. With a small staff of dedicated team members focused on building new partnerships and identifying innovative opportunities for company stakeholders, Link-age found that allocating IT resources could be a challenge. The team now relies on Prelude to manage its IT processes – from maintaining network health to data management, meeting new compliance mandates and bolstering security practices. The team also has access to cloud services like Salesforce, which improves telework capabilities and productivity for the highly mobile team.

“At Prelude Services, we pride ourselves on working with our clients as partners instead of vendors because we believe the end results can be much stronger,” said Dennis Stufft, President, Prelude Services. “Link-age truly understands the impact a healthy IT infrastructure can have on its business, which makes it easier for us to work together toward the same goals. We look forward to continuing this partnership with Link-age as they expand into new communities across the country.”

Prelude Services works with Link-age member communities in Ohio, where Link-age is based. This partnership expands Prelude’s presence in the Pennsylvania and Ohio region, while also expanding its footprint nationally.
