The Kern River Valley Art Association proudly presents its 50th annual Sierra Arts and Crafts Festival on Labor Day Weekend, September 1st through the 3rd, 2012, in Circle Park, Kernville, California,” stated Jim Davis, President of the Kern River Valley Art Association. “They will be showing and selling their unique artistic creations throughout the weekend from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday.”

The sycamore shaded Circle Park in the quaint western-style town of Kernville, is nestled in the Southern Sierras, within walking distance to the Kern River. The park where the festival is held is surrounded with antique and boutique shops as well as great restaurants and lodging. Swimming, fishing, bicycling, camping, rafting and kayak are just a few of the mountain adventures enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

Reservations should be made early due to the record numbers of attendees expected this year. Hotels suggest booking as soon as possible so you can spend a few days in the mountains to experience the peaceful surroundings and the many adventures available to satisfy the wide variety of interests and desires of vacationers.
