VIPdesk, one of the leading providers of home-based customer service jobs, announced today that the company is hiring residents of Kentucky and Indiana to work from home as virtual customer service representatives (CSRs). Home-based CSRs reply to incoming calls from debit card holders in difficult financial situations with questions about their account status, balance inquiries, how to reset their PIN and more.

As VIPdesk’s CSRs work from their homes, all job applicants must possess a home office that is conducive to taking customer calls—quiet and free from distraction. All VIPdesk customer service representatives, called “Brand Ambassadors,” must provide a computer, internet and telephone that meet company requirements, as well as possess strong computer and Internet skills and the ability to learn quickly in a technical environment.

Home-based CSRs will work 15-34 hours/week, during the shifts of 8am-6pm, 6pm-1:30am and 1:30 am-9:00am Eastern Time with weekend and holiday work required. Paid training starts in October 2012.

All candidates must live in the states of either Kentucky or Indiana, pass a credit check, criminal check, drug test, FBI fingerprint check and employment reference security check. The ability to fluently read, write, comprehend and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
