Myrtle Beach is home to four outstanding fall festivals this year, each located only a short distance from the beach. These events are bound to bring in tourist traffic, in return boosting revenue for popular Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts. Springmaid Resort is one of those hotels looking to accommodate many of these festival goers. Their convenient location is less than two miles from two out of the four festivals.

The Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival will take place in the Market Common’s Grand Park on August 31 through September 2nd. Events will begin Friday at 6pm and last through Sunday at 3pm. BBQ samples, live music, free boat rides, wakeboarding demos, and more will take place throughout the weekend.

The 21st annual St. John’s Greek Festival begins Thursday, September 27th and continues throughout the weekend. Located at the St. John’s Greek Orthodox church on Highway 17, the festival includes an assortment of Greek foods, live music, vendor booths and more.

Market Common’s Oktoberfest will be the first of two in the city occurring September 28th through 30th. Festival goers can enjoy an array of German foods, craft beers, activities for kids, live music and more.

The second Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest will take place downtown on Ocean Boulevard on October 6th from 12pm-11pm. The day will feature German beers, a bratwurst eating contest, kid’s zone, live music and will be finished off with a fireworks display!

These four fall events should guarantee fun for all, and help hotels keep pace with the sales they produced from the summer season.
