MissionIR would like to highlight Inergetics, Inc. The publicly traded company, through its subsidiary, Millennium Biotechnologies, Inc., engages in the research, development, and marketing of specialized nutritional supplements for various medical conditions and athletes seeking improved recovery in the United States. Its products are used by immuno-compromised individuals undergoing medical treatment for diseases, including cancer, as well as wound healing and post-surgical healing and geriatric patients.
In the company’s news yesterday,
Inergetics recapped several company changes made in recent months, including executive appointments and product updates.
In June the company appointed CFO Michael James as CEO. James will continue with his responsibilities as CFO in addition to those assumed with the title of chief executive. Under his guidance, the company reports that the management team will focus on building, diversifying, and insulating Inergetics’ revenue stream by utilizing company assets such as branded products, endorsements, advisors, and employees.
In addition, Inergetics recently announced Jim Kras as its new chief marketing officer. Using Kras’ experience in the marketing industry, the company aims to build its administrative department and marketing teams to implement strategic initiatives. One such initiative is the Inergetics blog, http://www.surgexsportsblitz.com, launched in June. The new Surgex Sports Blitz blog is updated in real-time and features original content, including streaming live NFL related news feeds, providing followers with information about Surgex products and updates related to the training camp progress of the NFL athletes endorsing Surgex®.
The company’s marketing team has also developed and is distributing a weekly e-mail newsletter to existing Surgex customers in an effort to help expand Surgex’ Facebook, Twitter, and broader brand presence. The team updates the Surgex Sports’ Facebook page on a daily basis, and initiates digital contests to increase interaction and increase following.
Inergetics is utilizing the expertise of its advisory board for guidance related to expanding revenue opportunities; to expand the awareness of Surgex among the professional leagues and professional athletes; and to secure and strengthen distribution relationships once the company initiates the retail distribution plan of its products.
Inergetics continues to grow its product portfolio through R&D and the acquisition of revenue-generating products that require less capital while providing higher gross margins.
