For us to be ranked six years running reflects a decade of commitment and success in the fast-paced technology sector. I am grateful to our employees who continually strive to achieve excellence - each and every year.
Campbell, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2012
Groupware Technology, Inc., a leading information technology solution provider, has been named in the Inc. magazine annual Inc. 500/5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S., ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2008 and 2011.
Groupware has been included on the Inc. 500/5000 for the sixth year in a row, and is one of many Silicon Valley companies to make the list published this month. Inc. magazine has been compiling this ranking for over 30 years, and this year Groupware joins rapid-growth private companies like Adap.tv Inc., Facebook, Zappos, Microsoft, Marketo and Palo Alto Networks.
“It is an honor to be included in this prestigious list for a sixth consecutive year,” Mike Thompson, President and CEO of Groupware, stated. “It took three years of growth in a challenging economy to make the 2012 list. For us to be ranked six years running reflects a decade of commitment and success in the fast-paced technology sector. I am grateful to our employees who continually strive to achieve excellence - each and every year.”
The 2012 Inc. 500, unveiled in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 21 to November 15 and on Inc.com), is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. To make the cut, companies had to have achieved a staggering minimum of 770% in sales growth. The Inc. 500’s aggregate revenue is $15.7 billion, with a median three-year growth of 1,431 percent. The companies on this year's Inc. 500 employ more than 48,000 people and generated over 40,000 jobs in the past three years.
"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is,” says Inc. magazine Editor Eric Schurenberg.
Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, will be published on November 15th at http://www.inc.com/5000.
