"We want to tell them how going green would affect them, why they should GoGreen and then show them how to complete the green experience in the form of projects and visual guides.”

The staff of GoGreen.org will be expanding their YouTube channel during the week of August 22, 2012. This expansion is set to cover question and answer videos, how to videos and other guide videos for green living. The video guides will begin appearing Friday, August 24, 2012 and will appear on a regular basis through the site's YouTube channel. The videos are set to run approximately 5 to 10 minutes long. The videos will feature topics concerning green living and sustainable living.
Content and social media manager, Megan Coogle discussed this expansion during a recent staff meeting as well as a local meeting with green businesses responding to the recent GoGreen.org open call. In this discussion Ms. Coogle discussed the expansion and what videos the public can anticipate seeing. The first video, set to appear August 24, 2012 will be an introduction to GoGreen.org and what the site has to offer its readers. This video will be followed shortly by a question and answer video regarding questions that have been sent into GoGreen.org and why people should GoGreen. Ms. Coogle also stated that the expansion of the YouTube channel would encompass several different mini expansions that the site has planned.
“We will be announcing several different many expansions over the next few weeks. The majority of these expansions will occur on the you tube channel and eventually will offer some form of daily video. The goal is to offer a live question and answer video, how to guides, green living projects and discussions on green living topics. The reason for the initial expansion and the sub expansions of our YouTube channel is to offer our readers another option for green living education. We understand that some people prefer to have a hands on view of a green living project or a hands-on guide of how to accomplish a particular green living project. This expansion on our YouTube channel will offer them the hands-on visual aid to follow with any blog projects and article projects we may present on the site. The hope is that these videos will offer a visualization for why people should GoGreen.”
In further discussions Ms. Coogle discussed that one of the video expansions having an upcoming announcement will be the series entitled, “Why Go Green.” This series will cover several topics related to going green and white people should choose to GoGreen. “It is one thing to know how to GoGreen, but a majority of our readers do not understand why going green would affect them. We want to tell them how going green would affect them, why they should GoGreen and then show them how to complete the green experience in the form of projects and visual guides.”
