When one Googles “Rich Immigrants,” Dr. Harsimran Singh Ph. D. shows up as the first result. Having made his wealth in real estate, and other business ventures, Dr. Singh is now sharing his knowledge with the world. In August 2012, Dr. Singh was interviewed by ITV discussing his inspiring book, "How 12 Immigrants Made Billions-12 Keys to Success," which will be newly released as an e-book on Amazon in September 2012. Print version is already available.
Dr. Singh explains during the interview that his book is compiled of secrets to success, which he had discovered through his analysis of 12 billionaires that had immigrated into the United States with practically nothing. The list of billionaires includes high-profile names such as George Soros, Jorge Perez and Manny Mashouf – the chairman of Bebe stores.
The author, also a motivational speaker, explains: “Success is made, not found. It is something that must be worked on constantly.” Without persistence, perseverance, and strong follow through, there is no sense in making goals self. While many people believe luck plays a role in being successful, Dr. Singh warns that the only luck that exists is created through hard work and the gratefulness we express for the opportunities we are already presented with.
When interviewed on his own keys to success, Dr. Singh emphasizes that prioritizing in life as well as is in business is critical to being successful. By prioritizing spirituality above all else, one allows happiness into their life. Even with his financial success, Dr. Singh warns that “money will either come or it won’t,” but one must remain happy with or without it.
Like many billionaires that Dr. Harsimran Singh discusses in his book, Dr. Singh has a ‘rags to riches’ story. Having landed in America after an impoverished upbringing in Meerut, India, Dr. Singh has become a philanthropist, giving millions to establish charitable foundations, and has moved thousands of homeless people into decent housing. His ‘rags to riches’ story has previously caught the attention of several newspapers, including New York Times, which had published full-page spreads on him. As his way of giving back to America where he landed with almost nothing, Dr. Singh has authored 13 inspirational books including "How 12 Immigrants Made Billions – 12 Keys to Success".
