One single email coupled with one extracted weed, can help heal the world.

This morning, CBS News broke the news of yet another horrific act of violence. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57499732/multiple-people-shot-near-empire-state-building/?tag=cbsContent;cbsCarousel. In response to this and other senseless shootings, Marc Daniels, the Campaign Director of what has now become "America's 'Weed Out Hate' Grassroots, lobbying President Obama for Peace", is asking one million kids to send emails to the White House next Tuesday, in support of a globally televised event, in which two billion chldren would be called upon to root out a symbolic weed of hatred: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact.
History has illustrated that violence is embedded in our culture and consciousness like weed seeds in the ground. Rooting out one symbolic weed of hatred, is a protest, an act of solidarity, as well as a valuable lesson that every child can do to make a difference. This, coupled with the action of sending an email to the President of the United States, can create the necessary groundswell for this dream to become reality.
After visiting the Dachau Concentration Camp a few years ago, Daniels became inspired to create a campaign to help rid the world of hatred. After rooting and illuminating the rhetoric of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous speeches in the German kindergarten as well as the Jewish Wisdom of Kabbalah, he conceived an idea, in which two billion children would be called upon to root out a symbolic weed of hatred, to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have A Dream Speech", August 28, 2013. This is the central theme of Daniels' German language "Weed Out Hate; Sow the Seeds of Peace" book, being released in January 2013 by Allegria Verlag of Berlin.
All of this would be catalyzed by the extraction of one symbolic weed of hatred. Next Tuesday at 9:30AM, the students of Marquette School of Excellence, 6550 S Richmond Street, in Chicago, will make history by setting a new agenda for Chicago, the country, and the rest of the planet.Together, they will be symbolically rooting out bullying and violent instincts, setting the stage for equally symbolic "seeds of peace" to be sown on April 3rd, 2013. The kids are asking other schools to follow their example. Marc Daniels of the “Weed Out Hate” Initiative, Shoshanah Yehudah of the Southwest Organizing Project, Rabbi Capers Funnye of Beth Shalom BZEH Congregation, and Marquette School Principal Angel Turner, parents and students will participate in this historic event.
According to Daniels, one single email coupled with one extracted weed, can help heal the world.
