I want people to understand that there are sound options available and that there is still art in plastic surgery
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) August 23, 2012
Last week a compelling short documentary was released that challenges preconception about plastic surgery, particularly the cause of the rampantly growing examples of 'plastic surgery gone wrong.' Dr. Rian A. Maercks, a pioneering mind in this world and a secret weapon of discreet stars and socialites throughout the world, thought up a unique way to give the outsider a glimpse at his world. Dr. Maercks decided to gives his patients and the world a guided tour into the experience of being his patient. The most interesting part of this tour is that Dr. Maercks bears all as he relates to the camera as doctor and patient simultaneously. The initially compelling aspect of the film is that this preeminent plastic surgeon of outstanding rapport appears T-shirt clad as he enters the roll of aesthetic patient for the first time. The video of course continues to draw in the viewer with unique insight and perspective that may raise more questions and compels the viewer to re-watch.
Yesterday, one week after the documentary's initial realease, raw clips of the doctor injecting his own face were released. Totally uncut and unedited these clips show Dr. Maercks surprising reactions as a patient being treated by himself.
