Alpine airport transfer specialist Mountain Drop-offs has teamed up with Jura-based mountain eyewear company Julbo for a Europe-wide summer competition.
The Facebook campaign is part of a wider ranging joint sponsorship arrangement between Chamonix-based Mountain Drop-offs and the eyewear specialists.
As well as Mountain Drop-offs’ biggest ever team of summer drivers sporting the sponsor’s range of Tour sunglasses with polarized, photo chromic lenses, its summer fleet of 12 vehicles are also carrying Julbo branding.
Mountain Drop-offs’ Facebook page is also sporting sunglasses too! For every 25 new likes, entrants have the chance to win one of 40 pairs of sunglasses aptly named after nearby mountain peaks, MonteRose and MonteBianco (the Italian name for Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc).
“As part of our ongoing marketing programme identifying and forging key strategic relationships with other like minded brands is important to us,” said Simon Hills, Mountain Drop-offs’ managing director.
“Working with Julbo has been a delight, the Facebook campaign is proving a winner with our passengers from all over Europe and long term benefits of the mutual sponsorship will, I’m sure, benefit both brands.
“We live year round in a challenging mountain environment and making sure we’ve all got the best protection for our eyes is important whether it’s for driving, mountaineering, cycling, trail running or skiing. We have had winners from France, UK, Denmark and Spain so far and with 30 pairs still to giveaway, lots more opportunity for people to play.”
