Having her home featured in a well known décor magazine is the icing on the cake for Sheffield School graduate Francesca Meazza.
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 27, 2012
When Francesca Meazza enrolled in the Complete Course in Interior Design, a home-study interior design program from the Sheffield School, she did it for personal satisfaction. One year later, she graduated and received her certificate from the school, still with no intention of making interior design a career.
But that didn’t stop the Italian Décor Magazine, Vivere Country, from featuring her work in one of this year’s issues of the magazine. “I love living in the country, I could not think of my life anywhere else, that would just not be me,” said Francesca in describing her home. For two days, the crew of Vivere Country took photos of and recorded the nature of Fancesca’s own home, the home she spent much of her time as a student of the Sheffield School redecorating.
Francesca is one of many students outside of the United States, who thanks to the Sheffield School’s home-study training, can get the education that they’re looking for without ever leaving their home. The intensive interior design course is designed to give students real-life, hands on experience in the field. Projects include designing and decorating multiple rooms, and many students choose to use their own homes as a canvas, just like Francesca.
“It was really a big job, but the satisfaction we had working with our hands and following it all was the best reward ever,” explains Francesca. And having her home featured in a well known décor magazine is the icing on the cake.
