Got more tomatoes than you can use? Somewhere nearby you've got a friend with too many oranges. Connect and trade! You can now notify your friends on Facebook that you have garden produce to trade with them via LemonsForLimes.com.

How does it work? Become a lemonsforlimes.com member for $ 5.95 a year, ($1.00 goes to the clean water effort at Samaritan's Purse) and receive an unlimited number of trades. List the produce you have available, and then search for fruits & veggies from other gardeners in your area. All produce trading is done on a point system which means you can share tomatoes with members in August and save the points you've earned to pick up apples from a member in the fall. When you post the produce you have to share you will have the option to post your trade to Facebook so all your gardening friends have the opportunity to join you. This site is a fun and useful tool for home gardeners with an abundance of fresh produce. The new Facebook tie in helps you connect with existing friends that you didn't even know were gardening.
