Recently, Salt Lake Pops Orchestra announced the release of a brand new song cover they produced of Falling Slowly by Once. This latest piece from Salt Lake Pops Orchestra included the talents of Jessie Funk, David Osmond, and Nathaniel Drew.
The music video their version of Falling Slow by Once is located at http://youtu.be/lmD8VMimrHE. Salt Lake Pops Orchestra has been working hard to produce this piece, and has thus been promoting it all over the Internet.
Nathaniel Drew, the producer, put this latest cover of Falling Slowly by Once together with the help of great talents including Jessie Funk and David Osmond. Jessie Funk is a famous motivational speaker who started the non-profit call The Ivy Girl Academy, which is a leadership-training program for teenage girls.
She’s well known for her amazing voice, as well as her solo albums and Broadway performances. She’s also performed on “America’s Got Talent”, “The Biggest Loser”, and Donny & Marie Osmond’s Las Vegas show, according to the “About” page on her website.
Salt Lake Pops Orchestra is a not for profit organization started by producer and composer Nathaniel Drew. The Falling Slowly by Once cover is one of many pieces he helped create to help inspire young musicians in high schools across the United States. He has stated that he produced the cover for Falling Slowly- Once, and other modern pop culture pieces like Firework and Grenade, to make orchestral music relevant to our modern age. In such a way kids can actually relate to orchestration.
The Revolution Symphony makes its home at http://www.revolutionsymphony.com. Here, orchestras can find free sheet music, such as Grenade, Firework, and Falling Slowly to help their struggling orchestras. Since the project is non-profit, donors can donate to keep the project going strong.
