TRICYCLE, a Las Vegas, Nevada corporation involved in Marketing, Public Relations & Interactive Media, announces their selection of C.A.R.T. (Center for Advanced Research & Technology) as the winner of their 2012 Technology Grant.

TRICYCLE, a Las Vegas, Nevada corporation involved in Marketing, Public Relations & Interactive Media, announces their selection of C.A.R.T. (Center for Advanced Research & Technology) as the winner of their 2012 Technology Grant. The Grant award is in the amount of $25,000 in App/Web/Software services & development.

The Center for Advanced Research & Technology is a comprehensive education program that combines academics with technical, design, process, entrepreneurial and critical thinking skills. Eleventh and twelfth grade students from Clovis and Fresno unified school districts attend half-day sessions at the center.

The center provides research and technology facilities where students design and complete projects in collaboration with partners from the local, national and international business community.

“…what stood out among the hundreds of applicants, was CART’s concepts for using Augmented Reality and Real Time campus mapping techniques”, said Eric Tienken, Co-Founder of TRICYCLE.

Grant’s were established by TRICYCLE in 2011, in an effort to assist non-profit and community groups to compete in the marketplace with big budget competitors and private enterprises. Non-profit supporters & their recipients are no different from traditional consumers – they are digitally oriented and demand mobile access and communication. TRICYCLE supports local community building efforts by offering Non-Profit pricing at 50% published rates as well as Grant opportunities like the one awarded to C.A.R.T.

Non-profit organization may apply for grant consideration for their Website & Mobile App development needs. Grants range between $5,000 – $50,000 in development costs and can be awarded in stages or annually.

Organizations my apply for grants as many times as they wish, but total awards for the organization will not exceed $50,000 in products & services. All grant awards will be delivered as products & services only. No monetary distributions are included in Grant awards, and all work is exclusively performed by TRICYCLE, Inc.

Tricycle grants cycle every 6-9 months. Current grant cycle ends March 31, 2013.
