XBOSoft's research shows how software designers can use ISO standards in practice to design better interfaces for both mobile and web applications.
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) August 27, 2012
XBOSoft’s research on software quality evaluation was chosen by the International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology (QUATIC 2012) to be the topic of a series of presentations at the conference next week in Lisbon, Portugal.
In the main session, Phil Lew, CEO of XBOSoft, will present groundbreaking research on connecting software quality end user satisfaction surveys with software product quality characteristics, entitled “Using Web Quality Models and Questionnaires for Web Applications Understanding and Evaluation”. This research was chosen as one of the top research papers at the conference, and therefore will also be presented again in greater depth at the thematic track “Quality in Web and Mobile Engineering”.
In his third presentation, Phil will present research entitled “Modeling and Evaluating User Interface Aesthetics: Employing ISO 25010 quality standard,” which shows how software designers can use ISO standards in practice to design better interfaces for both mobile and web applications.
Phil’s presentations are designed to discuss software quality design and modeling methods collaboratively with other software quality thought leaders. During the presentations they will discuss how these models can be used to measure and improve software product quality, quality from the end user perspective, and the correlations between them.
Attendees will leave the sessions with insight into how, by modeling and evaluating software quality, they can:
- Quickly implement a software quality program without getting slowed down by measurement obstacles
- Continuously iterate and improve quality measurement programs
- Have a faster, more efficient development cycle – maintaining more control and visibility into the quality of each release
- Realize exceptional ROI in a very short timeframe
- Manage software testing directly in alignment with quality objectives
In addition to his research in software quality, Phil, as the CEO of XBOSoft, actively works with clients around the world in developing software quality measurement programs so that the entire organization is enrolled in increasing software quality, from all perspectives, most importantly the end user.
