Court Agrees To Hear Autography’s Motion To Enjoin Egraphs

Autography LLC announced today that Pinellas County Circuit Court Judge George Jirotka disregarded Defendants’ counsels’ objections and granted Autography’s request for a hearing on its motion to shut Egraphs down.

“We are pleased the judge agreed to hear our motion at this early stage,” said Tom Waters, co-founder of Autography. “We have a strong case, and we’re hoping that justice prevails.”

Autography will present evidence and testimony at a 2.5-hour hearing in Pinellas County Circuit Court on October 4.

Autography filed a suit on August 10 against Egraphs and the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team citing misappropriated trade secrets, breach of a confidentiality agreement, and fraud and civil conspiracy after several months of meetings to negotiate a potential partnership in the early part of 2011.

The case is pending in Pinellas County Circuit Court and is styled Autography LLC v. Celebrity Marketplace LLC; Celebrity Marketplace LLC d/b/a Egraphs.com; Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Ltd; Brian Auld, Michael Kalt and Stuart Sternberg, Case No. 12-9795 CI 020.
