For 2 Chicago Cubs Players, It's Time to Bring a Bit of Wrigley Field to Advocate Hope Children's Hospital

Two Chicago Cubs players will be visiting pediatric patients at a Chicagoland children's hospital on Tuesday, August 28.

WHAT:     Pediatric patients at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital will be in for a treat when Chicago Cubs catcher, Steve Clevenger, and a second surprise Cubs player visit the hospital. The players will spend time with patients and family members for two hours before they leave to prepare for their night game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Representatives of the news media will have an opportunity to videotape and photograph the Cubs’ hospital visit as the players go room-to-room, greeting – and talking baseball – with the children and any family members who are present. WHO:     Physicians, nurses, child life specialists and, of course, the hospitalized children will be on hand to greet the Cubs players, including catcher, Steve Clevenger.

WHEN:     Tuesday, August 28, 10 a.m. –noon.

WHERE:    Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital, 4440 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. The hospital is located on the west side of Kostner Avenue at 93rd Street. Go to the children’shospital lobby.
