An enthusiastic BestIT Race Team delivered big this weekend at the Cadillac Grand Prix of Sonoma—the final race of the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge—with both drivers placing in the top ten, and BestIT driver Andy Lee taking first place in a very competitive race.

In addition to driving the #20 BestIT Camaro to a 1st place win in the GTS race, Lee also received the Invisible Glass Clean Pass of the Race award. For the 2012 race season, Lee finished the season with four race victories, 2nd place in the overall points standings and was named the World Challenge Rookie of the Year. Harry Curtin, BestIT CEO and Race Team Captain, drove the #29 BestIT Camaro to an 8th place finish in the season’s final race and finished a strong rookie campaign in the top ten of the points standings—a great accomplishment in a field of experienced drivers. The team was further honored when the BestIT Race Crew was awarded the Crew of the Year award, as voted by their peers.

A proud Curtin said, “I’m amazed at what we accomplished with the help of our families, friends, and volunteers, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do next season.”
