Josh Fallis is proud to announce that he will be competing in the 2013 Masters Emerald Cup Championship in Washington. Despite being busy with new business ventures, Fallis is dedicated to training his mind and body for the upcoming competition, sponsored by Craig Productions, LLC.
The Emerald Cup Championships, along with the Washington Ironman (another Craig Productions event), is one of the most popular bodybuilding events in Washington for contestants and spectators alike. Being a part of this event as a competitor is an exciting prospect for professional bodybuilder and trainer Josh Fallis.
“In order to compete, you’ve always got to be training,” says Fallis. “There is no off season for bodybuilders. Right now, I’m working on maintaining muscle mass and furthering my definition.”
The 2013 Emerald Cup Championships were announced earlier this month on August 2, via a post on the competition’s Facebook page. The post reveals that the 2013 Emerald Cup Championships will take place May 3-4, 2013, at Meydenbauer Center in Washington.
It wasn’t long after the Championships were announced that Josh Fallis knew 2013 was a year he couldn’t miss as a competitor. “The Emerald Cup Championships are extremely important to me and the greater bodybuilding community in the northwest. It definitely requires a lot of work to be a serious competitor in this thing. Even though we’re still nine months out, it’s never too early to start training,” says Fallis.
Josh Fallis has participated in numerous bodybuilding competitions in the past. In addition to being a trainer, Fallis also works on the competitive bodybuilding industry himself, having spent years behind the scenes and on the business end of things.
Though the 2013 Emerald Cup Championship will be the first bodybuilding competition for Josh Fallis after a hiatus, it certainly will not be his first foray into competitive bodybuilding. Fallis has made a name for himself in the Northwest United States and beyond for his exceptional performance in the competitive bodybuilding industry.
“I’m a little nervous, but very excited,” says Fallis. “I’m confident in my ability to train, and I know that I’ll the support of my wife, Kimberly, every step of the way.” Fallis’s wife, Kimberly Fallis, is also a professional bodybuilder and trainer. “Knowing that she’s behind me gives me even more strength and optimism about training and competing.”
