"We feel that expanding into this topic area shows support for our readers desires, that we listen to what they want and that we strive to offer them information to achieve the GoGreen experience.”

On August 27, 2012 Green Living Consultant and Content Manager, Megan Coogle, held an end of month meeting with the social media marketing and content management team of GoGreen.org. This meeting was held to discuss new expansions, reader numbers and social media tasks for the upcoming month and quarter. During this meeting Ms. Coogle discussed the increased viewer numbers to the green living, education and energy portions of the site. She also discussed the overwhelming response the site received to questions regarding what viewers want to see on the site as part of the green living content.
"During the month of August we received an overwhelming response from our green living campaigns. The GoGreen.org readers have spoken and they want to see more information and topics covering health, beauty, diet and nutrition as it relates to green living. This is a huge topic and important section of the green living movement and a green lifestyle. We feel that expanding into this topic area shows support for our readers desires, that we listen to what they want and that we strive to offer them information to achieve the GoGreen experience.”
Ms. Coogle also discussed the plans for the expansion. This expansion will include a week long diet and nutrition blog focus with the first focal point on alkaline dieting and water ionizers. The expansion will continue to an article focus on diet, nutrition, organic menu planning including veganism and topics on organic supplements. In regards to the increased reader numbers and social media followers, Ms. Coogle said that the numbers are rapidly increasing and continued to increase in particular areas of the site.
"During July and August we saw a rapid increase in viewers, readers and readers sharing our articles on social media. The rapid growth centered around our articles concerning green based work at home businesses and on our homeschooling section. It was during this time that we asked readers to let us know what they were missing on our site and what they would like to see GoGreen.org accomplish in coming months. Overwhelmingly we received word from our readers that nutrition, health and diet were topics that we should start covering and we agree with them.”
The expansion will begin August 27, 2012 and will continue during the month of September. This expansion will include businesses that have registered with the open call, announced in previous press releases. The open call is still accepting green businesses, products, services and especially products and services that relate to green nutrition and healthy living. If you have a green business, company or product that deals with green diets and nutrition please contact Megan(at)gogreen(dot)org for more information about the open call and how your business can be featured on the site.
