Rapid and consistent growth at North Carolina marketing agency The Sales Factory has caught the eye of Inc. magazine, which included the firm on its 2012 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S.

The Sales Factory (TSF), a full-service marketing and advertising agency, is making its first-ever appearance on the list, clocking in at No. 2,484 among all companies on the Inc. 5000, and at No. 222 in the “Advertising and Marketing” sub-category.

The Sales Factory, one of just 20 firms based in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina to make the list, received the recognition after showing 98 percent growth in a three-year period measured from 2008-2011.

“This is just an amazing honor for us, and really is only possible because of our clients’ faith in our firm over the years,” said Ged King, President. “I think we’ve succeeded in down economy because we offer a research-based approach to marketing that ensures clients are getting the kind of strategies that virtually guarantee sales growth. The days of marketing, for marketing’s sake, are long over.”

The firm’s honor was noted in the latest issue of Inc. magazine, which was released this past week. The Sales Factory also was a recipient of the 2011 Fast 50, an honor bestowed by The Business Journal in recognition of TSF’s recent growth curve.
