“Positive and engaged hospital employees allow the hospital to focus on what truly matters; enhancing the patient experience and improving patient satisfaction,” said QHR President and CEO, James L. Horrar.
Brentwood, TN (PRWEB) August 30, 2012
Modern Healthcare recently selected Allegan General Hospital (Allegan, Michigan), King’s Daughters Medical Center (Brookhaven, Mississippi) and Neosho Regional Medical Center (Chanute, Kansas) as three of the best places to work in the healthcare industry. This is Allegan’s third year in a row on the “100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare” list and Neosho’s fourth year in a row on the list.
“We could not be more proud of the QHR client hospitals that made Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work list,” said QHR President and CEO, James L. Horrar. “Positive and engaged hospital employees allow the hospital to focus on what truly matters; enhancing the patient experience and improving patient satisfaction—both of which are critical in today’s quality-focused environment.”
“We are honored to be ranked for the fourth year in a row as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work. The partnership between QHR and the board of trustees has helped create a strong organization, one that is able to focus on creating a great place for employees to work and physicians to practice medicine,“ said Dennis Franks, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and CEO of Neosho Regional Medical Center.
“Because our management is strong, we can focus more energy on providing ideal patient care. When your staff is proud of the care they give, you are too,” Franks added.
According to Modern Healthcare, the recognition program, now in its fifth year, honors workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers the best possible care, products and services. The program is co-sponsored by the Studer Group. Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the 100 Best Place to Work in Healthcare for 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee on October 9, 2012 and will also be published in a special Modern Healthcare supplement on October 15, 2012.
