Offering one of the most innovative new school supplies on the market, Alliance Rubber Company, the leading family-owned manufacturer of rubber bands, is pleased to announce that its Eraselet product won second place in the new product category at the Promotional Products Association Mid-South Show (PPAMS) held recently in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

“We are thrilled at the positive response that Eraselet is receiving in the promotional products industry,” Kimberly Ricci, President of Sales and Marketing for Eraselet, said. “With over two million sold this year to companies like Junior Achievement, Great American Opportunities, and the Girl Scouts, we are looking forward to providing more of our FUNctional US Made products to consumers through the PPAMS.”

The Promotional Products Association Show, held August 15-16 at the Embassy Suites Nashville SE in Murfreesboro, is the largest show of its kind in the Mid-South, showcasing over 500 product lines in 100 booths.

“We do a feature product area at the show called the Gadget Garage. Every exhibitor gets to choose his or her own product to enter. This year, we put them all together and allowed people to vote on their favorites,” Mark Farrar, Executive Director for the PPAMS, said. “We recognized the top three and Eraselet won the second most popular product in the exhibit.”

“With a brand new product, you always want to know how it is going to be received. We are so excited to win this distinction,” Ricci said. “For those interested, Eraselets are sold exclusively through the SAMCO Line, a promotional products supplier since 1919. Ten percent of all the net proceeds from the sale of Eraselets go to erase world hunger and to assist other humanitarian initiatives.”

“We are excited to have the opportunity to manufacture the Eraselets line here in the United States,” Jason Risner, Strategic Marketing Manager for Alliance Rubber Company said. “We think consumers will be pleased with the functionality of this back to school product.”
