“When the President comes to Charlotte he hopes North Carolinians won’t remember how his failing policies have increased unemployment, hiked taxes, and saddled our economy with his disastrous health care law,” explained Dallas Woodhouse, state director of AFP-NC. “Our family-friendly "Welcome Party" and subsequent bus tour will be an opportunity to remind the President that his failing policies hurt North Carolina and celebrate the free market policies that can make our state and nation strong again.”

The “Welcome Party” will feature entertainment and activities for the young and old including beach music with the Craig Woolard Band. There will be great food, volleyball, basketball, mini golf, and arcade style games. There will also be opportunities for concerned citizens to phone bank using the state-of-the-art Freedom Phone banking system to educate their neighbors about Obama’s economic record.
