Encompass Media Group, a leader in consumer engagement through unique event production and outdoor media, has been retained by Wilkins Media and The Media Kitchen to bring a 40-foot historic trolley across the country to raise awareness and excitement for PBS’s newest series of kid’s programming.
The trolley, which is a throwback to the famed Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and the iconic trolley that transported friends to the Neighborhood of Make Believe, will also be featured in PBS’ new series 'Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,' premiering this fall.
When charged with activating this animated series in various cities throughout the US, Encompass Media Group knew that next to the red sweater, the Trolley is the iconic image that brings back fond memories for kids and parents alike.
Encompass Media Group strategically selected kid-friendly areas of town in select cities to take the trolley, which is wrapped in Daniel Tiger's exciting kid-centric graphics with an on-board face painter who paints the PBS show's characters onto children's arms and faces. Throughout the stop, Daniel Tiger Brand Ambassadors excite kids and parents with talking points as they distribute Daniel Tiger stickers with all the characters and branded mini 8oz bottles of water.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, from The Fred Rogers Company, stars 4-year-old Daniel Tiger, son of the original program’s Daniel Striped Tiger, who invites young viewers into his world, giving them a kid’s-eye view of his life. As they closely follow and share Daniel’s everyday adventures, preschoolers ages 2-4 and their families learn fun and practical strategies and skills necessary for growing and learning.
