Breaking a world record feels incredible. But the real accomplishment is that we delivered 36 hours and 23 seconds of pure business content to help entrepreneurs.
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) August 31, 2012
Susan Baroncini-Moe, President of Business in Blue Jeans, a Midwest-based business and marketing consulting firm, and author of the book "Business in Blue Jeans" (due out Spring 2013), announced today that she has received approval from Guinness World Records® for breaking the record for the world’s longest uninterrupted live webcast.
Baroncini-Moe hosted the 36 hour, 23 second, record-breaking business and marketing themed event June 27-28, 2012. The event encompassed a lineup of speakers that included international bestselling authors, speakers, celebrity entrepreneurs, and experts in the areas of business startup, marketing, sales, branding, networking, social media, and personal development.
Baroncini-Moe, who herself delivered two presentations, participated in two live business Q&A panel discussions, held a live business makeover, conducted seven interviews, and emceed the bulk of the event, said, “Breaking a world record feels incredible. But the real accomplishment is that we delivered 36 hours and 23 seconds of pure business content to help entrepreneurs. Nobody was here to sell anything or pitch anything. We were all here to bring entrepreneurs and business owners the kind of information they need to grow their businesses,” speaking from her office in Indianapolis.
Baroncini-Moe went on to say, “You hardly ever see this kind of purity and generosity in business anymore. But all of these amazing, well-known entrepreneurs and authors and speakers who are regularly paid thousands of dollars just to speak or to give their advice, they were all here to give that content away. The event broke a record, but I think we did more than that.”
The event, which was sponsored by Bluehost and Business in Blue Jeans, among others, featured Baroncini-Moe alongside business notables like Michael E. Gerber, Larry Winget, Bob Burg, David Meerman Scott, Chris Brogan, Scott Stratten. The webcast is available to view, for free, in its entirety, at Baroncini-Moe's web site, BreakARecordWithSusan.com.
