Fault tolerant Call Survival Architecture for Q-Suite 5.7 with its Overseer Watchdog System, has a sophisticated monitoring mechanism to watch the sanity of all services and servers within Q-Suite based Asterisk Call Centers, and initiate automatic fail-over in the event of fault detection.

Overseer Watchdog provides a fail safe method for deploying mission critical Asterisk based call centers using Q-Suite 5.7.

Indosoft Inc., developers of Q-Suite, the industry leading call center software for Asterisk, announces the availability of its Overseer Watchdog System for Q-Suite 5.7. This Overseer Watchdog System deployed as part of its Call Survival Architecture will anticipate possible disruption to calls, initiate fail-over and provide High Availability (HA). When setup for ‘Call Survival’, Q-Suite takes this one step further and preserves on-going conversations while executing the fail-over.

The Overseer Watchdog system for Q-Suite offers automatic fault detection, Fail-over and HA, and Call Survival for Asterisk based call centers. The overseer mechanism initiates automatic fail-over from a main service to a standby service in the event of fault detection. The watchdog mechanism runs periodic tests to determine the sanity and well being of the servers and services running within each individual server. The combined Overseer Watchdog system automates the process of identifying a fault that can cause possible disruption to calls and initiate fail-over to a State synchronized redundant service.

With the availability of Q-Suite ACD driven contact center solutions, Managed Service Providers can deploy Asterisk in their Cloud setup and offer advanced ACD and Dialer solutions using Q-Suite.
