Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) August 31, 2012
The workers’ compensation lawyers at Warnken, LLC were seeking a way to connect with potential workers’ comp clients online. After examining the market of websites, the firm decided to do something unique.
Numerous potential clients asked how much their benefits would be. Many also asked what factors went into the process of determining the amount of comp benefits. The idea hit: an online workers’ compensation calculator.
The calculator was conceptualized and laid out in accordance with Maryland workers’ comp law. After overcoming possible legal and ethical hurdles via research and thorough disclaimers, user interface, and customer expectations, the calculator was coded. The site was launched in early 2011.
In addition to the more than 25,000 unique visitors, as of August 29, 2012, the calculator has been used a total of 6,372 times. (Some visitors use the calculator more than once per visit.)
The site has nearly 140,000 pageviews for an average of well over four pages per visit. The average visit duration is nearly three minutes. Organic search accounts for 88.42% of the total. (All statistics come from the Google Analytics account for the site.)
As evidenced by the traffic numbers, the site has been a resource for those seeking a Maryland workers’ compensation lawyer. Plans for the site include keeping the calculator current, as well as continuing to add new content. The site will continue to provide updates as traffic milestones are reached. The site can be found at MDCompLaw.com. In addition to the homepage, you can visit the lawyers section for information about Maryland comp lawyers.
