HCG Diet Kits has been in the business of helping people lose weight with HCG Injections for over a decade. Their hope is that HCG Diet isn't just a weight loss plan, but the beginning of an improved lifestyle. To that end, longstanding HCG Diet Coach Paul Johnson is always on the lookout for information that can help his clients.
"I recently learned most store bought bread contains a chemical called bromide," said Paul. Many bakeries add bromide to their dough as a bleaching and improving agent. Unfortunately, when bromide (also known as Azodicarbonamide) is added to flour, it is converted to urea. Urea is a nitrogen-containing compound familiarly known to be in urine. It can be irritating to skin, eyes, and the respiratory system, and prolonged ingestion can cause various symptoms, including dermatitis.
Paul says, "I really want to help my customers be aware of things that could get in the way of their hard work toward a healthier way of life." Bromide is also used by many fast food restaurants, including Subway, Dunkin' Donuts, and Burger King. Don't be afraid to ask restaurants to show their product labels.
Many countries have started banning the use of bromide (Azodicarbonamide) in any foods. The UK's Health and Safety Executive has deemed it a respiratory sensitizer (potential cause of asthma) and has therefore decided foods containing it should be labelled “May cause sensitisation by inhalation.”
Alas, beer also often contains bromide. So it's important to read the labels. A Google Search of Azodicarbonamide can also glean more information.
Often stores carry organic or artisan breads which don't use bromide, and while they are a bit more expensive, the hidden cost may be the loss of one's health.
