Big Nerd Ranch is offering a five-day iOS Commuter Class in the Washington DC area this fall. The course takes place Nov. 5-9 at the Apple office at Reston Town Center in Reston.
The iOS Commuter Class is based on the popular iOS Bootcamp taught at Big Nerd Ranch facilities in Atlanta, Amsterdam and Denver. The commuter course lets students learn from the Nerds by day and go home each night.
Beginning iOS Bootcamps and iOS Commuter Courses are amongst the most popular classes at Big Nerd Ranch and focus on teaching the beginning programmer how to write apps for iPhone and iPad.
Students taking the iOS Commuter Course will dive into iOS app development including Xcode, Multitouch UI, Core Graphics and Animation and Web Services. Review the class syllabus at bignerdranch.com/classes/beginning_ios_commuter_class.
Jonathan Blocksom, a Reston native and managing director of Big Nerd Ranch’s DC operations, teaches the class. Blocksom also teaches Advanced iOS and OpenGL at the Big Nerd Ranch facility in Atlanta.
