Mobile, AL resident Swaniqua Jackson is the recipient of a college scholarship to Ashworth College (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu). The announcement was made during the Montgomery Job Corps/James Madison High School winter graduation ceremony this past weekend.
The scholarship will allow the new James Madison High School graduate the opportunity to pursue an online Associate Degree in Health Care Management. James Madison High School is an official partner of Montgomery Job Corps and a division of Ashworth College.
“We’re very excited that Swaniqua was selected to receive the scholarship,” said Ms. Glenco Howard, Montgomery Job Corps High School Diploma Instructor. “She initially came to Montgomery Job Corps to pursue her high school diploma and receive career training to work as a clinical medical assistant. She’s graduating with a 3.15 GPA.”
