Brotha From Anotha Motha Cookers (BFAM Cookers) was founded in 2003 by Greg Holloman and Chad Buesing. Greg and Chad are brothers-in-law, hence the catchy name. In the team’s first year, they took home First Place in the Brisket Category at the annual Western Days Ziegfest in Yorktown, TX. Living nearly three hours apart from one another, coordinating competitions was becoming increasingly difficult. After a few wins under their belts, Greg and Chad separated into two teams. Greg and his wife Kim became the new BFAM Cookers and continued on in true BFAM tradition, bringing home wins in all categories including Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Chili and Beans. They have picked up a few small sponsors along the way, but they remain a small team and that’s just the way they like it. They’re in this for their love of competing, comradely and being surrounded by their family and friends while they serve up award winning food!
The band, Interstate, based out of Richmond, Texas, is a young, new, up-and-coming Texas Country/Red Dirt/Americana group, formed in July 2011. The band features multiple vocal harmonies, dual lead guitars and an extremely versatile rhythm section. Interstate has recorded a CD which is soon to be released. http://www.interstatetexas.com
