Grand Junction, Colorado (PRWEB) September 26, 2012
The DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Junction hotel has put the finishing touches on a
comprehensive multi-million dollar hotel renovation project. The updates include new lush carpeting, exquisite flooring and vinyl throughout all public spaces and hotel meeting venues. The lobby features new white marble flooring, check-in pods and new furniture throughout the hotel. Both the Bistro 743 and Lounge 743 are sporting new, vibrant looks. Additionally, the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Junction has added a new sports court for an enhanced overall multi-use court experience.
A state-of-the-art audio/visual package in the meeting rooms rounds out the renovations and each meeting room is equipped with a new sound system, microphones and screens. The Grand Ballroom features a 12-foot drop down screen along with a ceiling mounted projector to accommodate large hotel meeting requirements and presentations.
Many positive comments and an overall excitement have been generated within the community, according to Per Nilsson, General Manager, of the DoubleTree. “We anticipate the changes in the hotel will increase interest from meeting planners used to the ambience of the larger cities and, hopefully, bring increased meetings business to Grand Junction.”
