Subscriber-Aware Service Activation and Management Solution Now Offers Support for Video-On-Demand Services, SNMP Data Collection, and Enhanced Reporting Capabilities

Incognito Software, a global provider of broadband software provisioning and activation solutions, today announced the newest version of its Service Activation Center. This updated service activation and management solution now offers service providers the ability to accelerate their deployment of high-speed data, telephony, IPTV, and video services across a host of broadband platforms, networks, and devices using a single, easy-to-manage interface.

The amount of Video-On-Demand (VOD) traffic is expected to triple by 2016 and an increasing number of service providers have begun looking to software vendors to help them roll out new on-demand products and services with this growing audience in mind. The latest version of Service Activation Center builds on the company’s existing support for DTV and IPTV to also support the end-to-end service activation and fulfillment of VOD services, which helps providers save both time and money.

Service Activation Center also allows providers to collect critical subscriber data using both Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). It then correlates this information with other service activation data, including subscriber, device, and geographic location, to create a holistic and subscriber-aware view of the network. This data can then be exported to CSV, XLS, PDF or HTML files and used by various departments to help plan marketing incentives, product upgrades, and network changes.

To hasten time-to-market, Service Activation Center integrates and interacts with all necessary systems for one-touch service activation. Service providers can quickly roll out prepaid billing models, as well as optional add-on parental control services.
