The founding principle behind i>clicker has always been usability and customer satisfaction.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 04, 2012
i>clicker, one of the most widely used classroom response systems in education today, announced the availability of the new i>clicker+ remote for early release. Originally scheduled for October 2012, i>clicker+ will ship nearly two months ahead of schedule.
i>clicker+ represents the third major iteration of the popular classroom response system and introduces key new features such as: an improved keypad with a recessed, clearly marked power button; improved accessibility and usability with buttons that now feature Braille and labels in contrasting colors; enhanced vote confirmation with LED lights next to each button - providing students with clear and immediate feedback; a smaller form factor; and now requires only two AAA batteries instead of the three used in previous versions.
Said Troy Williams, president of Macmillan New Ventures and general manager of i>clicker, “The founding principle behind i>clicker has always been usability and customer satisfaction. That applies not only to our high standards for a customer-driven, feature-rich, simple user experience, but also in product delivery and customer service.”
i>clicker+ is replacing the original i>clicker remote. Production of the original i>clicker remote will be phased out in the coming months. Priced identically to the original i>clicker remote, i>clicker+ will continue to be the affordable option for students, along with the more feature rich i>clicker2 and web>clicker.
The i>clicker classroom response system has been adopted in over 1100 major educational institutions in the U.S. and Canada, and is used by over 3 million students. i>clicker is a product of Macmillan New Ventures, a division of Macmillan.
i>clicker+ is available for purchase as of today, September 4th, 2012.
