Macclesfield, UK (PRWEB UK) 5 September 2012
The Austin Mini, which first hit the UK roads in 1959, has been voted as the greatest British vehicle of all time in a new poll.*
The iconic Mini beat the original Range Rover to the top spot in a poll to find the best British car ever made. It also overtook the Jaguar E-Type, which was launched in 1961, and other popular cars that have since been built.
A staggering 5.4 million Minis have been sold during its 41-year lifetime, making it the greatest vehicle in British history. It also overtook the world famous McLaren F1 and classic Morris Minor in the vote.
Car Loan 4U Co-Director Ryan Dignan comments;
