Thriving Through One of the Toughest Economies

Amnet Technology Solutions announced today that the company has experienced a three-year sales growth of 23%, which has landed the company on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing US private companies for the 6th consecutive year. What's more, the Stamford-based company’s forecast is projecting even more growth for the coming years.

“Amnet is honored to make the list for the 6th consecutive year and would like to thank the unwavering teamwork and dedication from all Amnet employees, our partners and most importantly, our loyal customers,” says Alex Sulpizi, CEO of Amnet Technology Solutions.

The company’s latest cloud delivery technology has attributed greatly towards Amnet’s success. As Sulpizi explains, “It enables a private cloud to be tailored towards your business needs and is unique to the marketplace, compared to the abundance of standard one-size-fits-all models out there. Our company goal is simple -- to provide an innovative blend of today’s technology to deliver measurable return to each of our customers’ unique needs.”

According to the referenced report by Gartner, the cloud computing industry is projected to grow steadily well into 2015. Amnet is more than ready to capture this market and has steadily increased it’s workforce by 30%, hiring local expert engineers with years of proven experience in both IT and A/V technologies.

“It’s an exciting time for the Amnet team, our customers as well as future prospects," says Sulpizi. "We have the team and the resources to deliver some of the most technologically advanced solutions in today’s market and we’re optimistic and look forward to very solid growth in the years ahead."

In a stagnant economic environment, the median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created more than 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.

“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/ 5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large companies, are where the action is,” said Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg.

(Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
