An evening of Comedy about elections, negative ads, society, relationships and other things we should probably talk about. Featuring a showcase of established and local up and coming comedians. Johnny Steele, Michael Davis, Nato Green, Alex Koll and some surprises including a rare west coast appearance from one of NY's Top Political Comedians Scott Blakeman.

As the 2012 presidential election draws near lets laugh about the issues, the facts, the bad ads and the state of America. This is a comedy showcase of some of the best local comedy stand up veterans and featuring some true up and coming stars. Once again the Other Café Comedy Showcase and the Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts at the Osher Marin JCC pair up to bring great comedy to Marin.

JOHNNY STEELE is a comedian, some-time talk show host, writer, humorist, political satirist and all-around loud mouth commentator. Johnny has performed at comedy festivals, won comedy competitions and logged over 20 national TV appearances. He also hosted San Francisco's Live 105 Morning Radio Show, and co-hosted KRON/Bay TV's THE SHOW.     YOUTUBE

MICHAEL DAVIS is the original comedian/juggler of the New Vaudeville. For over 25 years he has entertained audiences with his wit and skill.

NATO GREEN was summed up more or less accurately by The East Bay Express as, “erudite and acerbic, a San Francisco-raised father, union organizer, gastronome, bibliophile, and political sparkplug.”     YOUTUBE

ALEX KOLL is a self-described “Funnyman and Entertainmenter of variable power and speed.” Alex is also the two-time winner of the San Francisco Regional Air Guitar Championship; No kidding.

Scott Blakeman "One of the the top political comedians working in New York today", Scott has performed around the world and has been featured on MSNBC's live coverage of the White House Correspondents Dinner, and is also one of the few liberal pundits to appear weekly on the live webcast Fox Live.    YOUTUBE

About the Other Café
The Other Café, the legendary Haight-Ashbury comedy club, is a San Francisco establishment. Founded in 1977, The Other Café -- along with the Punchline, Cobb's and the Holy City Zoo -- was one of four full-time comedy clubs operating in San Francisco alone with comics such as Dana Carvey, Bob Sarlatte, Bobby Slayton, Michael Pritchard, Jane Dornacker, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Henny Youngman, Howie Mandel, Gallagher, Brit Jasper Carrott, and pioneer lesbian comic Robin Tyler.
