In Richard Hernandez’s new children’s book “I Lost My Nose” (published by AuthorHouse), a young boy wakes up to discover parts of himself are disappearing.

Written in an appealing, singsong rhyming format, “I Lost My Nose” is sure to entertain young readers. The protagonist wakes up and goes to brush his teeth, but soon discovers that he’s left his ear in his bed!

As he returns to get his ear, he soon discovers that more parts of his body are disappearing – his ears and his eyes, his nose and even a leg all vanish!

Just when he is about to sink into despair, his mother wakens him from the terrible dream, and he’s relieved to discover all of his body parts present and functioning.

“We need more humor, less stress and lighter, funnier stories,” Hernandez says.
