Logicim Announce Support in XLGL for Sage 50 2013 Canadian Edition

An update to Logicim XLGL now make the software fully compatible with the upcoming Sage 50 2013 Canadian Edition, formerly known as Sage Simply Accounting.

Logicim XLGL now fully support connection to a Sage 50 2013 Canadian Edition database. All existing reports will work with the new version without need for modifications. XLGL still supports all version of Simply Accounting since 2003. The new version can be downloaded from the Logicim web site. A free trial is available for new users.

Logicim XLGL, a reporting solution for Simply Accounting targeted at end-users, helps business by providing this timely information taking into account their specialized needs and processes. Once a report is created, the user can update it at his leisure, providing him the latest customized view of his business.

Although report can be created for a specific version of their accounting software, basic tools will allows all report to be used with all version of Simply Accounting since 2003 and the new Sage 50 2013 Canadian Edition.

XLGL use a simple click and drag interface integrated within Microsoft Excel to bring reporting to the common Simply Accounting user, removing the needs for a high-cost IT department. While pre-formatted reports are available, users can create their own solution quickly and with very little additional knowledge or training.

Dashboards and dynamic reports can be created with this same simple interface, leveraging tools already found in Excel, while high-end user can benefit from low-level tools such as a query designer and multiple connections management.

The latest release of XLGL also expands easy access to the general ledger for any years available in the company file, current, previous and even upcoming when supported by the database.
