The Group of Thirty today released "Policies for Stabilization and Growth in Small Very Open Economies", by Dr. DeLisle Worrell, Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados.

"Small economies can’t use the same tools as large economies. They face a rigid foreign exchange rate constraint that affects monetary, fiscal, and exchange rate policy," explained Dr. Worrell.

He continued, “This paper explains concepts critical to the growth of small states and offers recommendations for achieving stabilization through policy.”
