The Rock-it automatic fish scalers have always worked well and fast for all that have used it. The only complaint has been that the swivel snap would break due to wear or poor quality. With feedback from fishermen that have used it, the fix was pretty simple. The nose cone is now made with 2 swivel points and the swivel snap has been eliminated. A short safety rope for a tow behind, empty one gallon jug has been added to keep the Rock-it from sinking to the bottom if something should go wrong. The only drawback to the jug is that it slows down the scaling process, as it limits the rocking and spinning action. This same rope & jug can be used on older models too. The new Rock-it will be built in Fruitland Idaho, including all the parts and assembly, under strict quality control guidelines. New dealer programs are targeting the smaller sporting good stores.
