The best of the world’s Paralympians embarked on London’s Olympic Park last week for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Paralympics. notes continued purchases of British themed outfits as fans flock to dozens of Paralympics events.

British fever looks set to continue throughout the Paralympics.

Following the opening of the 2012 London Paralympics, has noted that patriotic British costumes are continuing to fall off the shelves as sporting fans get behind their home-grown Paralympic hopefuls.

Tickets for many of the Paralympic events have sold out with the Games likely to be the best-watched Paralympics in history. The atmosphere is expected to reach fever pitch, just like the Olympic Games last month, with spectators choosing to wear British outfits to display their affection and support for the Team GB competitors.

Mark Heaton, of All Fancy Dress, said: “This summer’s Olympic and Paralympic Games has really generated new levels of patriotism across the nation. There has been a genuine sense of pride at the way London and the rest of the country has hosted the events and British fever looks set to continue throughout the Paralympics.
