The staff of GoGreen.org has announced their latest expansion to include an interactive option between the GoGreen green and sustainable living consultants and readers. This new expansion is the latest in the interactive options being offered by GoGreen.org. The site will start this interactive live Twitter chat on September 6, 2012 at 8 PM central standard time. The chat will be hosted by green living consultant Megan Coogle. Ms. Coogle discussed this expansion, her role in the expansion and how this interactive option will work for the readers.
“Being interactive with our readers is vitally important in ensuring that we are answering their questions and giving them the right information regarding their green living endeavors. The option to hold a weekly live Twitter chat was a no-brainer. We want our readers to be able to ask questions and receive the answers to those questions immediately. We feel the best option is to offer a live Twitter chat which will coincide with our Facebook and eventually lead to our blog and content. Ideally a reader will be able to attend the live Twitter chat, ask their questions, receive answers and go the step further to receive more information through our blogs, articles and through our Facebook pages. We also fill this will be a great way to help spotlight and discuss current green issues and current green news that will also appear on our Facebook page.”
Ms. Coogle also discussed how the live Twitter feed will work. In order to participate in the live Twitter feed or through the interactive Facebook options, a reader will need to subscribe to GoGreen's Twitter feed as well as like GoGreen on the Facebook page. Ms. Coogle said that the two go hand-in-hand and in order to receive the full benefits of the live Twitter chat and other options including giveaways and contests for green products, services and gift cards.
“We want this to be a fun and interactive live chat. We don't want it to be just a question and answer session. We want our readers to want to come to the live chat, enjoy the live chat and participate in giveaways, products and services that they may not be able to find out about through other sources. We also want to offer special topics during the live chat and expand live chats to possibly go into three times a week chats with specific nights for green mothers, parents, families and special business nights for individuals who have green living businesses. This is an all-inclusive live Twitter feed that will offer several expansions and options in the future and bring our readers a new level of a green experience.”
