Irvine, California (PRWEB) September 04, 2012
Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL) has completed phase two launch of its Hispanic Training Center, the first and only interactive video-based online training center designed to accelerate the advancement of Hispanics in America – as corporate leaders, as small business owners, and as consumers who can help influence how organizations build their brands. According to CHL Founder, Glenn Llopis, “Hispanics are ready to advance their careers and eager to utilize their cultural roots as a source of strength that allows them to enable their natural skills and characteristics and unleash their full potential. Our goal is to offer a certification program to help organizations develop the skills of their Hispanic professionals and develop their business in culturally relevant ways.”
The current course curriculum will certify individuals and organizations across three distinct areas: Leadership, Career Advancement and Entrepreneurial Skills. CHL will continue to expand the curriculum of its Hispanic Training Center. Already planned for later in September, additional curriculum will include how to lead Hispanic employees and sell to Hispanic consumers.
As CHL Director of Client Relations, Annette Prieto-Llopis, notes, “Our mission is to train and excite the growing community of Hispanic professionals and encourage them to continually engage with Hispanic Training Center coursework by providing them with lesson plans for certification complemented by new content added each month. As our research indicates, Hispanic professionals are eager to embrace culturally-relevant training that enables their most authentic skill sets and enhances their relevancy as they seek advancement and new opportunities in their work.” Certification means students will have the knowledge and skills to leverage their Hispanic heritage and cultural values for the advancement of their careers in ways that come most naturally to them.
Center for Hispanic Leadership – which consults with Fortune 500 organizations on how to unlock opportunities for business by giving Hispanic leaders and consumers a voice – believes it’s time for Hispanics to build a leadership identity that the rest of America can begin to understand and embrace. According to CHL, Latinos are the fastest growing workforce community and consumer group in America, yet organizations have been slow to align their brands or establish sufficient resources and infrastructure to support this growth. In particular, they are lacking culturally-tailored training and advancement tools that support the specific needs of the Hispanic community.
Ms. Prieto-Llopis notes, “Hispanic Training Center will provide the best learning engagement experience that supports the technological demands of Latinos – in particular, video-based interaction where Hispanics index extremely high, especially as a training aid.”
Hispanic Training Center will support affordable pricing for each category of curriculum, starting at $29.00 per month. CHL-Level 1 Certification Program will start at $79.00 per month and will include over 10 hours of video-based content. Corporate and university packages and sponsorships are also available.
Mr. Llopis concludes, “Today, Hispanics are looking for an identity they can hold onto. Unfortunately, most people are uneducated about our Hispanic cultural values, thus making it difficult to understand the natural talents that Hispanic employees are capable of delivering in their work. Equally, this makes it a challenge to properly market to and earn loyal relationships with Hispanic consumers. Hispanic Training Center will be the game changer for both Hispanics and non-Hispanics as we work more closely together to enable opportunities previously unseen.”
