What college student can’t appreciate having the ability to message their friends with NO fear of that content re-surfacing or being shared with others? It’s curious, cheeky fun!

züm, the first iPhone app that allows users to send “no-regrets” video messages to their friends, will be kicking off their nationwide college tour on September 5th at the 901 Bar & Grill, USC’s most popular local hotspot.

züm from Divide Nine, a Los Angeles based entertainment technology studio is the first app to deliver “no-regrets” messaging. The app, which hit the iTunes App Store on August 9, 2012, allows users to send an unlimited amount of five-second video messages to their friends, which immediately self-destruct after being viewed, Tom Cruise – “Mission Impossible” style.

CEO of Divide Nine, Krishna Gopala says, “We are excited to announce the first nationwide züm tour, which strategically hits at college audiences, a generation that will impact the future of the way we think of video messaging without regrets said.”

Attendees will be among the first to adopt the iOS app that is revolutionizing the way people create and share video content. züm will be taking over the TV screens, allowing users to send züm’s that will be broadcast to the entire 901 crowd, and offering wristbands for drink specials to anyone who downloads the app that night.

The night will be the first event on züm’s nationwide college tour, as züm representatives will be making stops at universities across the country over the next couple of months - taking over campus hotspots to share a night of cheeky, züm-tastic fun and leave with “no-regrets”

Nick Loui, co-creator of züm and Head of Interactive at Divide Nine says, “We are so excited to share züm with the college demographic. Always receptive to new social technologies, we feel they will really gravitate towards this new ‘no-regrets’ way of communication. What college student can’t appreciate having the ability to message their friends with NO fear of that content re-surfacing or being shared with others? It’s curious, cheeky fun!”
