Beth Tiger knows first-hand the devastation of divorce. Six years ago when she began what would become her Flying Solo Series – a series of workshops, individual coaching and support groups for divorce individuals – she had little idea just how far her work would spread. With the release of her new book, Rising from the Ashes of Divorce: Book one in the Flying Solo Series (published by Balboa Press), Tiger is now widening her audience to readers everywhere.
“With more then 50% of first marriages ending in divorce and almost that many in subsequent marriages it is clear that books like this one are critical,” says Tiger. “It is my personal feeling that until divorced individuals heal the wounds from their divorce experience they wreak havoc on their future relationship and don’t truly move forward in a peace filled way. This is not a book that lectures the reader it engages the reader and affirms that the reader has all they need inside themselves already to transform their own life.”
Transformation is the overriding theme in Tiger’s life-altering, eight-week workbook. Rising from the Ashes of Divorce is the first book in the series and includes thought provoking questions, homework assignments, prayers and daily affirmations.
Like her personal workshops, Tiger brings a caring, intimate vibe to her workbook. “I want the reader to be excited about the next chapter of their life,” she notes. “I want the reader to be able to use the tools in this book to create the life they dream of for themselves.”
About the Author
Facing 40, Beth Tiger was married with two young children, a beautiful home and a successful career. It looked like the American dream but it wasn’t. As her marriage dissolved she found herself in unfamiliar territory. However, her divorce journey offered her an emotional and spiritual awakening; she deepened her relationship with God, herself, her children and her family. From this experience she created The Flying Solo Series. She lives in North Jersey with her new husband and blended family.
