Merger of G2 Outdoor Living and Kyne Landscaping form GRO Outdoor Living; full-service outdoor living company provides year-round consistency and quality.

G2 Outdoor Living and Kyne Landscaping, two of Vancouver’s most showcased landscaping companies, have merged to form GRO Outdoor Living. GRO provides custom-tailored outdoor living spaces to elevate how residential and commercial clients experience their environment.

With a combined 40 years of industry experience, owners Garret Hergert and Rob Kyne share an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the outdoors. Prior to the merger, both companies had won a number of local and state awards.

“After partnering for a few years, we decided that officially merging and rebranding was in the best interest of our customers,” said Garret Hergert, GRO Outdoor Living owner. “By combining our strengths and resources, we can provide top-level service and exceed our customers’ expectations.”

GRO’s unified brand encompasses all divisions: design, build and maintain. Ranging from intimate backyard settings to distinctive commercial spaces, the company handles all aspects of landscaping and hardscaping to craft beautiful yet functional landscapes.

“Fully developing our maintenance division was the missing piece needed to propel GRO to a one-stop, full-service outdoor living company,” Hergert states. “With the right maintenance and care, a landscape will grow to be even more beautiful with time.”

Unique among the industry, GRO operates a Washington state certified nursery in Ridgefield with over 100 varieties of trees, shrubs, perennials, groundcover and grasses. These locally grown plants are used whenever possible in GRO’s projects.
