LogiXML, the pioneer of web-based business intelligence (BI), today announced the addition of Jim MacIntyre to its board of directors. MacIntyre has more than 20 years of technology innovation and operational experience, which will be a valuable asset to LogiXML as the company continues to rapidly scale.
“Over the past few years, LogiXML has grown dramatically because its value proposition really resonates with customers. The company has a great opportunity ahead of it based on an ambitious vision and very exciting product plans,” said MacIntyre. “I am looking forward to contributing to LogiXML’s continued success.”
Jim MacIntyre is a serial entrepreneur and technology investor who has founded, led, and advised numerous private and publicly held companies. Most notably, MacIntyre co-founded Visual Sciences, LLC, a real-time analytics software business which developed innovative, marketing leading products. MacIntyre led Visual Sciences as chairman and CEO until 2006 when the company was acquired by WebSideStory, Inc. (WSSI) for approximately $60 million. Later becoming the CEO and president of WebSideStory, MacIntyre continued to build the value of the merged public company and the Visual Sciences brand (VSCN) until its acquisition by Omniture, Inc. (OMTR) in 2008.
“I am excited to have Jim join our board. He has a unique combination of skills and experience that are perfectly suited to what LogiXML needs at this point in our growth. He is an entrepreneur. He has scaled companies. He has run a public company. He has analytics market knowledge. And, at his core, he is a product innovator,” said Brett Jackson, CEO, LogiXML.
Founded in 2000, LogiXML provides businesses the fastest and easiest way to deliver business analytics, dashboards, and reports to a broad range of users, as well as to embed them into existing applications – all for a fraction of the cost of other solutions.
